It's Bllluurrrryyy Scary

1. What camera metering mode (evaluative/matrix, center-weighted or spot) did I use for each image and why?
I think that I used the metering mode evaluative/matrix because I wanted the light in the photo to be even and as natural looking as possible.
2. What white balance settings did I use for each image?
I seemed to use more of a daylight light balance because most of the pictured turned out warmer in color.
3. Do I have a strong composition? Give specific support as to why/why not.
I think that in one or two of my photos I have a strong composition because they are very structured and have simple framing.4. What would I do differently if I shot this assignment again?
If I were to do this again i would redo the light and shadow photo because I think I could make this more creative.5. Do you think your photo(s) should be considered as one of the best from your classmates? Why or why not?
No I don't really think it should be considered one of the best in the class because they aren't really unique.

Reflection

This actually came out pretty close to how I wanted it. I loved how it was blured in the background and how there was just one thing in the focus. this is what I was origionlly going for.

looking back on this, I think that I could have definintly made this photo a little more creative and artsy, but I was going for something simple.

Triptych
part one:
My idea for the triptych assignment is of a bookshelf. In three pictures i want to tell the story of a child taking over his mothers bookshelf to fill it with his own love for comics throughout the years. Therefore in each picture the number of his mothers books decreases while the number of comic books increases, also the quality of the picture changes to show time passing.

On my own... A three picture series
Vandalism or Art?

This post I a little different than what I originally wanted to do for the On My Own idea. instead of doing 3 different series', I just did one set of pictures. from looking at them, its difficult to decide whether the stickers covering the street of Alberta in Portland, Oregon are vandalism or art. But that also makes me think, can't vandalism be considered art too sometimes?
